Our Story
A Legacy of Taste
Warrenton Winehouse is built upon the legacy of our predecessor, The Grapevine, a Warrenton institution for over two decades. We will carry on their tradition by remaining an independent, family-owned destination in the heart of Warrenton, focused on providing exceptional wines, beers, and cigars to our neighbors.
Our goal is to build upon the foundation of the Grapevine by expanding our selection to include drinkers of all kinds, including those who do not drink alcohol at all.

Meet the Curators
Doug Hibbard
Owner & Operator
Doug started his career in hospitality back in the 1990s, working at various restaurants in Charlottesville and Boston. After a brief (23 year) detour working for the federal government, he returned to his hospitality roots in 2025, working at various local wineries. His goal with the Winehouse is to create a space where everyone is welcome, no questions are beyond asking, and no jokes go untold.
Susan Givens
Owner & Operator
Susan decided to marry Doug many years ago and has stuck around ever since. She was the first to think the Winehouse was an opportunity worth taking and has generously continued her career at Northern Virginia Community College so that Doug can play in the shop.
Silas Hibbard
mocktail sommelier
Silas has been crafting his own beverages for years, combining seemingly unrelated drinks together to see what happens. He has tried every mocktail in the Winehouse and put it through his rigorous "would I drink this" review process. He is the inspiration for our having a dedicated non-alcoholic section in the Winehouse and a trusted voice for everything available in it.
Tobble
Chief Security Officer
Tobble is our dedicated chief security officer, ensuring that all deliveries are properly vetted and all delivery drivers are properly barked at. Despite having the face of an absolute killer, he's actually extremely friendly and is upset that you're not already petting him.
Renzo
Chief Morale Officer
Renzo really doesn't understand why his loved ones keep going more than five feet away from him. His primary role in the Winehouse is to enthusiastically greet everyone coming home from the shop by jumping on them, licking them, and generally going nuts for a few minutes.
The Winehouse Q&A
Whether you're visiting for our weekly tastings, browsing our cigar humidor, or exploring our signature non-alcoholic collection, we strive to make your experience seamless. We are a family-friendly venue where everyone—of every age—can find something spectacular.
